Ever since its launch a few years back, Cairo 360 changed the way of living in a city of 20 million for Cairenes and expats alike. We at Bright Creations do not think of it as – the ultimate guide to living in the capital – as they like to call themselves, we think of them more as a divine appearance that takes away the hassle and stress that come with planning your weekend or finding the right restaurant for your parents birthday dinner. That being said, we loved revamping our sister companys website to give them a completely new look that knocks your socks off. All the sweat and tears paid off after we launched the revamped website and received feedback that will keep our checks blushed until mid January.
The new design is very sleek and fresh and even though a lot of content is presented on the homepage, it does not seem crowded and most important, with the new design came a ton of exciting features that will make the readers come back like the very hungry caterpillar. Visitors can now login to – My Cairo 360 – through Facebook and Twitter and have their very own personalized version where they can follow their favorite categories. Users can follow all categories or be very specific and only follow reviews related to Italian restaurants. Apart from following categories, a user can collect the places they like most and have them displayed in a nice and organized way under – My places – . We added an – I am attending – button on the event pages to allow logged in users to add events to their – My Cairo 360 – page. Last but not least, – My Cairo 360 – offers users to write their own reviews about already reviewed venues, which gives other readers the option to read even more about the experiences other people had.
Cairo long-time residents and especially Cairo Newbies can now read some general information about Cairo with special focus on the main areas, where they will find a description about the area, a map and reviews of venues in that area are highlighted below, that way users can simply go to the area and they will automatically find the latest reviews there.
With the launch of the new Cairo 360, users can now read restaurant reviews and directly make their reservations on the site. Not only do they have the option of making a reservation at their favorite restaurants, they can also make use of the new ticketing option, where Cairo 360 in cooperation with Tazkarty.net offers tickets to the some of Cairos best events.
