1.Microsoft Introduces First Ever Laptop, The Surface Book – TechSpot
Microsoft dropped a bombshell a couple of days ago by announcing their first laptop ever.
Aside from the fact that the design is quite stunning, it introduces some of the fastest hardware available on a portable PC.
Some features include:
– A 13.5 inch display (227 DPI, 3000×2000 resolution)
– A 6th-gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor
– 8GB or 16GB of RAM
– 1 TB storage
– 12 hour battery life
– Two USB 3.0 ports
– SD card slot
– Bluetooth 4.0
– 5.0 MP front-facing camera with autofocus capable of 1080p video recording
The Surface Book is supposedly twice as fast as Apple’s MacBook Pro, could be used as a tablet by unhinging it from its base.
Pre-ordering began yesterday and shipping will begin October 26 with a starting price of $1,499.
2.IPhone 6S Plus Review – TechRadar
At the end of every year, Apple has its much anticipated Apple event that announces their new and exciting productsand software updates.
The most awaited products were the IPhones 6S & 6S Plus.
Pros:
– 3D Touch
– Vibrant Display
– Fuss-free camera
Cons:
– Big & heavy
– Expensive
– Minor software flaws
Design:
– Looks identical to the IPhone 6 Plus
– Both IPhone 6S & 6S Plus have what Apple is calling ‘7000 series aluminum’, which is supposed to be a lot stronger
– Slightly thicker and heavier than the IPhone 6 Plus
– New ‘Rose Gold’ color
Display:
– 5.5 inch panel with full HD resolution and 4.01 DPI pixel intensity
– Text and images are crisp and clear and colors are vibrant
Performance:
IPhone 6S plus has the latest power unit, the A9 processor, with claims of 70% more speed.
Battery Life:
IPhone 6S Plus has introduced the lower power mode which when switched on turns the battery yellow.
Not as advanced as Samsung’s power-saving mode, but it’s definitely a start.
Camera:
There is optical image stabilization and introduces the Live Photos element, where the device takes a 1.5 second video before and after your snap.
3.Adobe Introduces 2 Mobile Apps & lots of Product Upgrades At MAX Conference in LA – Tech News World
Adobe inroduced 2 new apps – Photoshop Fix & Capture CC – both of them are free but will be available to iOS users only for the time being.
Photoshop Fix introduces new Photoshop features alongside the regular ones and that is a tool for altering parts of a face.
The other mobile app, Capture CC, combines capabilities found in Adobe Brush, Adobe Color & Adobe Hue into a single app.
New features were also introduced to Adobe’s Creative Cloud line.
4.Logitech Adds portability to Home Monitoring – Tech News World
Last week, Logitech announced that a new monitoring system that links users to live feeds of their homes via an app called “Logi Circle”.
The app and camera are designed so you’re connected and never miss a thing at home, with awesome features such as smart filtering and real time updates to capture if anything unusual is happening at home.
