Best Apps For Everyday Use

We like to help our readers out, so every now and then we post a blog containing a collection of mobile apps that we think could be useful and could serve a purpose everyday or every other day as they have definitely been useful for us.

Some of these apps are popular worldwide and the rest are some of our very own personal favourites; we hope you find them useful too.

 

1)    Dark Sky:

If you’re a weather freak then this app is for you; it will keep you so up to date with the weather to the point where it can notify you minutes before it starts to rain.

2)    VSCO Cam:

With our growing obsession to find the professional photographer within and staying hours finding the perfect filters and shadows and whatnot, however this app is for actual photographers – amateur photographers – the no frills design makes it easy to apply filters, adjust exposure, share your creations with others.

3)    Camera 360:

Another photos app is Camera 360; it has over 200 photo filters and 10 modes.

The best thing about this app is that you can create Instagram-like photos with the option to create without the necessity of sharing your photos publicly.

4)    Google Maps:

No one has made a mapping app better than Google Maps. I find myself using Maps a lot, even when I’m home.

Google recently updated Maps with a fresh new look. It’s the best app to use for navigation and to find the place you’re looking for.

5)    Dictionary.com:

The app’s name basically speaks for itself, but if you’re someone who is constantly searching for word meanings or in desperate need of a Thesaurus then you’ll find this to be very useful, it also works offline.

6)    Wunderlist:

We found many apps that help keep you organized, some of them are on the list and one of them is Wunderlist; this to-do app lets you create lists and reminders to share with your colleagues and friends, it even allows you to assign tasks to people on your team.

App is available for iOS, Android, Windows 8 and Mac.

 

7)    Trello:

Another to-do app is Trello; an app that allows you to create voards for different projects and separate sharable lists within them. Each task goes on a separate card.

What’s awesome is about it is you can customize, color clode and rearrange things.

App is available on web, iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, and Windows 8.

 

8)    Sunrise:

Sunrise is an alternative to the calendar app; it syncs perfectly with Google Calendar, Facebook events, and other standard calendar formats.

The app mainily stands out because of its design and its awesome user experience.

App is available for iPhone, Android, and Mac.

 

9)    SoundCloud:

One of our personal favourites and most used app is the music app, SoundCloud.

This app allows you to find new and trending music, collect tracks and playlists, follow friends and artists, as well as discover podcasts, comedy and news.

SoundCloud is really easy to use, you could also repost the tracks you really love to your followers and form your own playlists.

App is available for iOS and Android.

 

10)   ElMenus:

ElMenus App is our pride and joy here in Egypt; it allows you to browse over 1,500 restaurants, you can find them according to location and type of cuisine.

You could also browse through their menus and call to deliver via the mobile app. It’s a great app; their new design is really sleek and chic, not to mention very easy to use and organized.
